Xiaomi Mi6 Release Date, Controversy and Features of Xiaomi Mi 6

It is a fact that Apple and Samsung are two brands that are the most talked about when it comes to the smartphones. But now there is a new emerging name that has diverted the attention of the gadget freaks towards it.

The brand is Xiaomi and the model is Mi6, which is the current sensation of the smartphones market. Xiaomi is set to unveil the successor to the highly successful Xiaomi Mi 6/Mi6s in China on February 6, with sales beginning sometime in March.

The Marketing Executive of Xiaomi hinted before that the Mi6 is headed for a possible December 2016 release which was quite believable as the M5 from the same company was released in December the previous year. But the change of decision and date of release made the eager buyers of this awesome product wait another two months.

Xiaomi Mi6 release issue was hovering the market for quite some time now and there were numbers of speculations regarding its release date. But then it was told that the phone is coming at the beginning of 2017. Then finally we get to know the release date. According to the popular speculation the phone will be released in 6th of February. Though some contradict the date will be 14th Feb only. So we can say that now it is official that the much awaited Xiaomi Mi6 is releasing in Fenruary for sure, though there is stll dilemma regarding the actual date.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Features
There is hell lot of new features that is coming with this upcoming Xiaomi Mi6. The last release of the brand was Mi5. The phone literally took the smartphone business by storm. So there was a strong feeling that the brand will not hurry the next release. Now it seems they don’t want to take any change and let any other brand just appear to grab the market. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to come with a 5.1-inch display with a 4K resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on top. On the imaging front, the smartphone will come with a 23MP rear camera and a 7MP front shooter for selfies. However, there are some reports that claim that the Mi 6 will come with a dual camera setup at the back (16MP + 16MP) and a 4MP front camera.

Xiaomi Mi Series Release Pattern
Xiaomi came up with it first set of Mi series in August 2011. While the Mi-1 Youth Edition came in May 2012 and the Mi-1S in August of the same year.Mi2 interestingly release along with Mi-1S, and the other two variants of Mi2, Mi-2S and Mi-2Areleased in April 2013. The next version Mi-3 came in September 2013 and its other variation Mi-3 (Tegra) came in the next month only. Interestingly Mi-4 took most of the time than its other series to be in market as Mi-4 released in July 2014, while Mi-4i released in April 2015, Mi-4c in September 2015, Mi-4s in March 2016. Mi-5, the last series was released in February 2016, and its two variants Mi-5s and Mi-5s Plus released in the October of the same year.

As the Chinese brand got too successful with its Mi5 smart phone and is all set to release its Mi6However it seems that this year company wants to offer their premium model as early as possible. The price regarding the upcoming phone cannot be confirmed as of yet but according to research we can make the assertion that the device will cost somewhere between $350 to $450
