This year during the launch of their new brand, Cool Pad Note 3 which occurred in October this year, The C.E.O of the company said that they will realize new brands early next year.

They are planning to introduce ‘make in India’ handsets together with Videocon whom they plan to collaborate with. Videocon has a base in Maharashtra. The C.E.O said that the company has been losing a lot of money since it’s selling its new handset, the cool pad Note 3 at Rs8999 while other companies are selling the same make at Rs10000 and which makes them lose a lot of money.

Their main interest is to sell good gadgets at affordable prices, but sometimes it gets really difficult to the company as they may end up losing a lot of money even with very high sales. The company currently retails its products through online marketplace Amazon. The Cool Pad Note 3 is doing well in the market, and so far, many sales have been made.

It has the following specifications and qualities: It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, it has a 5.5-inch screen, 16 GB internal memory, a 13-megapixel camera at the back and 5-megapixel selfie snapper. It has Dual sim card slots, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The company plans to invest close to 300 million in India as it claims; that is where most of its market is. Most of their consumers are from India. Besides, the company has partnered with Videocon so as to enhance their manufacturing level and manufacture smartphones for their consumers in India. The company is also considering setting up its manufacturing location in India to be able to service both domestic and SAARC markets.

Though the company has not given out much, after launching the Coolpad Note 3, Coolpad in collaboration with Videocon plans to start manufacturing new smartphones that will be equipped with high-end specifications and also a sub-rs 10000 smartphones to India.

These phones that are termed as ‘made in India’ Coolpad phones will change consumer’s prepositions and will be of great value to them. The phones will be exciting, trendy and to top it up very much affordable. The C.E.O said that they wanted to make modern tech and technology information available to everyone and not just a specific group of people, rather, even the middle-class man.

The company talked about launching 3 smartphones in Hi early 2016. These models will be a spec-heavy with very distinct features that include, a 6.2 inch QHD display, dual cameras that is one for front and also a rear one with megapixel of 13 for the back and 5 megapixels for the front.

These phones will also feature a fingerprint scanner like the one on the Coolpad Note 3.Coolpad is also working on a sub Rs10000 model that is expected in the first quarter of next year that is between January and May. This phone will be priced highly and aggressively as it will contain some really amazing features.

The company is targeting to reach around 5million consumers in India market by the end of the year 2016 according to the company’s C.E.O. The Coolpad’s Note 3 is currently doing really well as a month after its launch; the company had sold around 100000 units. The company was hopeful that the number could go up to 500000 units in the coming 4 months.
